Welcome to the Calne Without Parish Council website.
Calne Without Parish is situated in the north of Wiltshire, approximately half way between Swindon and Chippenham, the Parish surrounds Calne.
This website is maintained by the Parish Council for up to date Council information of benefit to Councillors and local residents.
The Parish Council meet on the first Monday of each month at Lansdowne Hall, Derry Hill, at 19.30. If the first Monday is a Bank Holiday then Council meets on the second Monday of the month. There are no meetings in August or January.
Future meeting dates are therefore:
11th June; 2nd July; 3rd September; 1st October; 5th November; 3rd December; 4th February
If members of the public have a matter you wish to raise with the Parish Council they are welcome to attend the meetings, which always start with a forum for public participation where questions, issues or statements can be made. The public are also welcome to just come along and listen.
Any items for discussion by full council, should be first raised with local councillors, who will then decide in conjunction with other ward councillors if a problem is required to be discussed by all councillors. Details of the problem and proposals for action will be provided to the clerk seven days before the next meeting in order to ensure all councillors have time to review before the next council meeting.
